At last a good heroine role has come to tall and well built Sonia Gowda. She plays heroine to Yogish in ‘Jinkemari’ that has completed 15 day shooting.

An anchor in profession turned heroine Sonia Gowda is one of the heroines in ‘Rana’ opposite Pankaj Narayan. Qualified and enterprising in nature Sonia Gowda has taken part in 15 days shoot that began in Salkeshpur in the direction of Naveen and it is produced by Mahesh.

Producer Mahesh was joint producer of ‘9 to 12’ Kannada film that was directed by NRI Kannadiga Ashok Patil. A realtor and Edible oil businessman Mahesh has taken the rights of ‘Bindhaas’ Telugu film to adapt with 40 percent changes in Kannada as ‘Jinkemari’. From last 31st March the shooting is in progress at Sankleshpur. It is a big star cast film. 35 well known faces are in this film says Mahesh who has come here for pure passion of cinema. A singer in his life Mahesh has rendered one of the five songs for ‘Jinkemari’ – Marabhumi Agidhe Manassu…a sorrow song.

Mahesh has made an entry in Hindi cinema too. He is associated with Radio Cinema and taking up ‘Fever’. A commerce graduate living in Vishveshwarayanagara in Belgaum producer Mahesh is contemplating of shooting in Belgaum one song for the film. There is a good fan following for Yogish he says.
